What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.
- Stomach.
Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? Etc.
- Dimples, a scar on her throat, some small scars here and there on her arms and hands from combat presumably. Also....she's covered in piercings.
Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?
- No accent.
Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
- She actually does have a stutter, usually brought out when she’s panicking.
What are their chief tension areas?
- Her shoulders, hips, and wrists.
If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?
- The Ballad of the Goddess from LoZ! There’s something about the way the song rises and falls from gentle to forceful and back that really helped me picture the way I wanted Rhoden to be. I listened to this for hours on end when I was creating her.
How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?
- Neutral with a guilty conscience? She doesn’t see herself as the best or worst person, she does what she needs to in order to survive but that doesn’t make her okay with any of it.
Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
- She acts on impulse usually, resorting to violence before anything else. It takes her some time to make a rational decision about nearly anything.
Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
- She has nightmares mostly, and sketches in her sketchbook when they wake her up or when she’s not able to sleep.
If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation?
- No preference.
What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
- She believes that there must be something out there more powerful than mankind, but she hasn’t settled on a specific faith. Very much the “pick a god and pray” type.
Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
- She MUST clean her sharps (arrowheads, daggers, blades, etc.) every single night. She can't sleep if she doesn't.
- Her speech impediment.
- Walks on her tip toes.
- Smells anything she's about to put in her mouth before she does it.
- Deathly afraid of spiders and literally only spiders. She'll tackle anything else without a flinch but......spiders. Yuck.
Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?
- Absolutely. She’s very easily overwhelmed.
Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?
- Solo for the most part, though she has enjoyed not having to fight on her own lately.
Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?
- She can multitask efficiently, but only with her hands. Not too well when she has to put real actual thought into something while being distracted by another task.
Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?
- Introvert when sober, extrovert when intoxicated. She is super paranoid in big crowds.
Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether?
- She’d rather stay on the sidelines and intervene when she feels the need to (aka when things aren’t going her way and she wants them to start going her way).
If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?
- She’d fight. She loves to fight.
If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?
- The person coming after her, so that he can’t ruin anyone else’s life the way he ruined hers.
Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
- She’d wish to see her mom again, she’d wish to have lots of money, and she’d wish for a companion.
Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?
- Takes quite a bit of time and effort on the part of the stranger.
Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?
- Honestly, she’s had her fair share of one night stands and she’s just here for a good time. Also, she’s keen on anyone who has money or will feed her/supply her with alcohol.
Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?
- This One Guy, He’s A Real Dickhole. He’s mad because she outsmarted him, or at least that’s the story she’s sticking to.
Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?
- None that she’s willing to admit to.
How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?
- She has nightmares, so she can stay awake for a while and still function. She really REALLY loves sleep, though.
If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?
- She would tell her mom how much she admired her strength and her father that he worked hard and that she’s proud of them both for doing whatever they had to so that Rho could be happy. She would express endless gratitude.
Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?
- She’s not afraid of dying technically, she’s just afraid of how she’ll die and what happens after.
Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
- Sometimes it’s easier for her to focus when she can be alone, but now that she’s been venturing with JC and Leli, she may get a little anxious if she’s left alone for too long. And she hates when she’s with people and it’s just dead quiet.
Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?
